How well does your shuffler randomize cards?
Share
Our shufflers are designed to randomize as much as possible via each pass through. The design allows a level of randomization of one to three cards to be pulled from each side with each shuffle. This helps avoid a "Faro shuffle" (a perfect weave), which is considered insufficient randomization and can be manipulated. So by adding randomization of 1-3 cards pulled from each side for each pull, it prevents deck manipulation and helps with correct overall randomization of cards.
That said, it is recommended to run a deck through the shuffler multiple times to sufficiently randomize the cards. A single pass through the shuffler would be the equivalent to a single riffle shuffler or side shuffle.
Use at a competitive-level event would be subject to the approval of the Tournament Organizer and/or Judge. Please check with your local tournament organizer prior to any competitive event where you might want to use your shuffler.
