We are gamers. We play lots of different games, and that includes Magic: The Gathering. Some of us played long ago, and most of us play today.

Our playgroup recently started playing Commander. But shuffling Commander decks was always a hassle. So we started trying to find a shuffler for the Commander deck. We bought shuffler after shuffler, from LGS’s, Amazon, Etsy, Ebay, and everywhere in between. Nothing worked.  Nothing was designed to handle sleeved cards. And certainly, nothing was designed to handle 100 sleeved cards.

Then, the inspiration struck… why don’t we make one?

So, with some background in 3D design and 3D printing… several months later, and a **lot** of prototypes later, the Mishra’s Deck Box was born.  A custom-designed, 3D-printed, hand-cranked card shuffler specifically for sleeved Magic: The Gathering cards (and any cards using the ‘standard’ card size), and also scaled to handle a 100-card deck.
